COVID-19 Event Protocol

The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) is committed to the health and safety of meeting and event attendees. NSBE leadership will continue to monitor the situation and provide guidance as more information on the extent and severity of the outbreak becomes available. NSBE will adjust its approach as needed to ensure a coordinated effort and a safe experience for conference attendees.

It is recommended that all attendees must be fully vaccinated in accordance with the CDC guidelines. Boosters are strongly recommended but are not required. Facial coverings are strongly recommended to be worn throughout the EVENT NAME. In the event an attendee tests positive post event, we strongly recommend alerting NSBE’s Human Resources Department to make other attendees aware that may have come in close contact. In the event any attendee tests positive for COVID-19, the CDC does currently mandate a required five (5) day quarantine period.
