The National Society of Black Engineers is seeking dynamic, engaging, knowledgeable presenters for the 36th Annual Convention taking place in the beautiful and dynamic Toronto, Canada! If this is you and you want to make a positive impact, submit an abstract for a 2010 Convention workshop! Target audience is a globally diverse group of pre-college students, undergraduate & graduate students, as well as technical professionals. As a workshop presenter, it will be your responsibility to develop an engaging workshop that is relevant to all Convention attendees.
We want each attendee to obtain a personal experience as they participate in workshops, so they can be advanced academically and professionally in a manner that facilitates social responsibility and education. This will be achieved by ensuring that all workshop presenters construct their workshop with our mission in mind, “to increase the number of culturally responsible Black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community" and in accordance to the convention theme & workshop tracks which are accessible below:
